Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Trivia Guru (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

When you create an account you are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• All activity that happens under your account.
• Notifying us promptly of any unauthorised use.

You may play limited quizzes as a guest, but progress, scores and leaderboard rankings are only saved with a registered account.

Acceptable use

To keep the game fair and fun, you agree not to:

• Cheat, use bots, scripts or automated tools to influence scores or rankings.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards.
• Harass other players or post offensive usernames or content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

Scores, levels & leaderboards

Scores, accuracy, levels, XP and rankings are calculated according to the rules described in the Service and may change as we refine the game.

We may adjust, recalculate or remove scores and rankings that we reasonably believe were obtained through cheating or error. Leaderboard standings are provided for entertainment and carry no monetary value.

Lifelines & in-game features

Lifelines, bonuses and similar in-game features are part of the gameplay experience. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be modified, limited or discontinued at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its quizzes, questions, design, logos and software, is owned by The Trivia Guru or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment only.

You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other players or the platform.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that quiz content is error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will always be available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Trivia Guru will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
